Field Office: Located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the Sandia Field Office oversees the NNSA Sandia National Laboratories, the laboratories responsible for the development, testing, and production of specialized nonnuclear components.

Laboratories: The NNSA Sandia National Laboratories are responsible for the development, testing, and production of specialized nonnuclear components and quality assurance and systems engineering for all of the United States' nuclear weapons. Sandia is contractor-run by Lockheed Martin Corporation. The labs are located in Albuquerque, New Mexico; Livermore, California; Kauai, Hawaii; and Tonopah, Nevada.
