SUMMARY OF FY 2012 B&W Y-12 AWARD FEE DETERMINATION

Babcock and Wilcox Technical Services, Y-12, LLC, the management and operating contractor for the Y-12 National Security Complex, earned a “Very Good” rating in Program, a “Satisfactory” rating in Operations, a “Very Good” in Institutional Management and Business, and 58.9 percent of the possible incentive fee from the National Nuclear Security Administration for its fiscal year 2012 performance.

As a result of the July security incident, B&W Y-12 lost a total of $12.2 million in award fee, which includes 100% of their possible security-related fee and a negative overall management fee adjustment of $10 million.
