Space-based NuDet Detection | National Nuclear Security Administration

The Space-based Nuclear Detonation Detection subprogram focuses on building and delivering satellite payloads that meet interagency performance and schedule commitments and on providing launch and on-orbit operational support for the current generation of the U.S. Nuclear Detonation Detection System (USNDS).  NNSA will continue full-scale production and deliveries of sensor packages to assure that payloads are ready, as needed, to meet national security requirements.
