We have a limited number of Student Career Experience Program (SCEP) [1] positions that are located in the greater Washington, D.C. area and in Albuquerque, N.M. Other locations may include Kansas City, Mo.; Livermore, Calif.; Los Alamos, N.M.; Las Vegas, Nev.; Amarillo, Texas; Aiken, S.C.; and Oak Ridge, Tenn.
We work with local universities to recruit students for this program. Please contact your university’s career center to see if NNSA is a partner with your school. SCEP positions must be directly related to your academic program.
For SCEP eligibility you must be:
- a United States citizen;
- enrolled as a diploma or degree-seeking undergraduate or graduate student maintaining a minimum of a half-time academic course load (as defined by the educational institution in which you are enrolled);
- maintaining a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 and be in good academic standing;
- able to obtain and maintain a security clearance; and
- able to pass pre-employment and random drug testing while employed.
