NNSA Makes Up to $200 Million in Awards to Five Small Business Teams for Enterprise-Wide Management, Organizational and Administrative Support Services

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) recently selected five small-business-led teams for its new Management, Organizational and Administrative Support Services Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA). The BPAs are available for use throughout the Department of Energy (DOE), have an estimated value of $200 million over their five-year life and will provide DOE with access to a total of 35 highly qualified small businesses.

The team leaders for the new awards are: BCS. Inc. of Laurel, Md.; CNI Technical Services of Albuquerque, N.M.; GEM Technology International, Corp. of Miami, Fla.; Longenecker & Associates, Inc. of Las Vegas, Nev.; and Miracle Systems, LLC of Arlington, Va.

“Small businesses inject needed innovation and vitality throughout NNSA’s mission-critical activities and demonstrate our intent to expand partnerships with the small business community,” said NNSA Associate Administrator for Acquisition and Project Management Bob Raines. “These are partnerships that strengthen our national security.”

The team leads selected for this BPA were completely different than the six companies that led teams during the previous agreements, demonstrating NNSA’s commitment to fair and open competition. In addition, the agreements put into action NNSA’s initiatives to expand strategically-sourced contracts with a small-business focus.

The BPAs are open to the NNSA, the Office of Environmental Management and other DOE program offices and cover support work in a variety of areas, including: program management; security; records management; international support (including translation and interpretation services); financial support; acquisition support; inventory control/management; domestic and international personnel transportation management; mailroom and correspondence center processing; workshop and conference support (including assisting federal staff with workshop program development, workshop logistics and website management planning); human resources support services; property management; and training support.
